www.neo7cnc.com This is a small CNC machine that I made. Unit is about 26 pounds. Cutting area is 4.5x by 5y by 3z. It uses THK actuators. I use dampers on all the steppers to help with vibration. Home switches are currently installed on the x and y.

Here my home-made CNC router is milling a scale RC helicopter tail rotor hub from a piece of 6082-T6 aluminium. You can see me spraying spirit on the work piece occasionally for cooling. This works great for aluminium.
Building A 3 Axis CNC Milling Machine. Part 1
